>>19536 Двачую. Доводите до бамплимита, и покончим с этим тредом навсегда. На дворе 2015-й год. Куклочан уже давно не актуален.

>>19123 Well, interesting, I have never thought about our board being advertised on foreign sites. There should be someone interested in foreigners here, or maybe someone did it for fun, I am not sure. >>19448 >I am quiet jealous, popularity has faded in the west. Actually, in Russia it slowly fades too.
>>19448 nani kashira lol Doesn't matter what's with popularity anywhere else, but here is everything ok with it. =) >100gb of Desu well, jedem das seine, as it can be said lol =) >>19541 >На дворе 2015-й год. It's not the 0-day ongoing-like popularity, but the one of the «old classics» like NGE or something like this. But, NGE-thread here has been drowned...I don't want such fate for this thread =) >>19585 >>19624 >>19626 универсальный ответ моде он тебе нужно — ты и живи, а мы уж как-нибудь тут с куклами =)
Hello, good hunter.
>>19928 Че несет.
>>19931 Приветствие.
>>19877 >No, nay, never! No-nay-never-no more will the popularity or RM fade, I would like to hope for. Never say never — all the things, that theoretically can happen, actually can happen in reality too, only probability depends. >It's not the 0-day ongoing-like popularity, but the one of the «old classics» like NGE or something like this. I slightly hope for the continuation of the title, may be it would be done someday.
>>21244 >all the things, that theoretically can happen, actually can happen in reality too, only probability depends That was the stuff for me to say about! =) So, may Peach-Pit be stated equal to such classics, as Homer, Shakespeare, Dumas, Goethe, Pushkin, Mitchell, Tolkien, Azimov, Heinlein... ...Em... I think I want too much =( >I slightly hope for the continuation of the title, may be it would be done someday. I wish, would continuation appear, it will have such quality as original series, Traeumend and Ouvertuere had. Tales did not impress me so much as previous seasons... Yep, everything but Tales technically was a spinoff, but this spinoff IMHO was much more well-worked in comparison to Tales.
>>21884 >may Peach-Pit be stated equal to such classics Well, you can't put Van Gogh and Azimov in one row, because they are different kinds of art. The same with Peach-Pit — the classics you named wrote novels and poetry. «Rozen Maiden» is not poetry neither a novel. IMHO, Peach-Pit can be stated as classics of manga. >I wish, would continuation appear, it will have such quality as original series, Traeumend and Ouvertuere had. Tales did not impress me so much as previous seasons... As for me, I liked the Tales. The drawing style in Traeumend is more nice and remarkable, but the plot is very far from manga and is problematic to continue.
>>21954 Yes, we can't compare different kinds of art, but we can compare amounts of influence and effect that chosen work caused to the development of specific art type. To refer to Odeen, Dua and Tritt, or Andrew Harlan and Noys Lambent in sci-fi community may be understanded, I think, by comparable amount of people as references to Suigintou, Shinku, Suiseiseki, etc. in anime community. Still we impress and live through characters' emotions and experience again and again while reading «The Land of Crimson Clouds» (but we know that conditions on Venus is totally different with what Strugatskiys described); «Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea» (but we know that Verne's conception of submarine structure and possibilities are simply incorrect); «Frost and Fire» (but we know that such dozes of stellar radiation that Bradbury mentioned, would not speed up human metabolism, but simply kill him). Are these pieces of art deprecated then? No, they still remain classics. And if style in which Rozen Maiden was made become outdated, I hope that it would not affect RM's popularity as such piece of 'classics'. And also we can compare impressions, but that's not the subject of this post. Btw, comparing to other anime titles, Rozen Maiden gave me such a powerful feelings as, for example, 'The Gods Themselves' in comparison to other sci-fi books. Speaking of Tales, it may be produced with such care taken of each part of plot, music, drawing, animation, coloring, etc. If it were the case, then maybe Tales were able to become the comparable thing to the Ouvertuere, original series and Traeumend, but... Straight and sharp lines, flat coloring that makes every doll look like piece of paper rather that someone alive, sounds from a clipart, and music that does not expose you to the storm of characters' feelings (just remember Megu's song or Suigintou's theme), as that of the first seasons, but make just a minimal required ambience... That all can show the difference in implementation. Just the plot can be considered significant, but I see much more flaws and 'Deus Ex Machina'-like moments in Tales, rather than in other seasons. Of course, it may be results of inter-plot adaptations between mange and previous anime episodes, but... we still discuss the result, not the propositions. In summary, if original series, Traeumend and Ouvertuere were a kind of exceptionally brilliant work, the Tales are just good thing in RM setting, nothing more. I don't consider Traeumend uncontinuable, as every doll has retrieved her Rosa Mystica back, and Shinku notified Jun of the 'another way' to become Alice; it may be the start of plot for the next season (even disregarding the fact that it will have no parallels with original manga). ...By the way: should we continue speaking in English, does >>19448-kun still read us?.. =)
>>21884 There were some lines near the end saying their adventures are not over, so we may see them again, hopefully. Probably not until their new project has been worked on a while though if I were to guess. >>22209 Desu, will always be the most classic of memes. >...By the way: should we continue speaking in English, does >>19448-kun still read us?.. =) I just remembered to check the board You guys were actually speeking English for me? I'm touched ;u;
>>22209 >Still we impress and live through characters' emotions and experience I understand your point, but the people are different, and the things that impress us don't do the same with other people. I am not sure how many people will be thinking the same about Rozen Maiden. The classics you named are justified by large amount of people, and RM never had the same popularity. >as every doll has retrieved her Rosa Mystica back Hina and Souseiseki didn't, as I remember. >>23198 >You guys were actually speeking English for me? Why not? Practicing English is a good thing to start the day with.
>>23202 >Hina and Souseiseki didn't, as I remember. Have you read the manga to completion?
>>23203 >Have you read the manga to completion? We were talking about Traeumend, not manga.
>>23299 Oh oh! Saying it doesn't line up to be included with part 3, now I get it
>>23198 >so we may see them again, hopefully Well, but one thing we can do now is just wait... And hope that all our waitings are not in vain. >Desu, will always be the most classic of memes. Truly so... But no one still have to forget any other doll, though. >You guys were actually speeking English for me? I'm touched ;u; Not that we speak especially for you, but I think, if we can discuss everything RM-related with one more person, it's much better. As for me, it's not difficult, but I think it would be impossible for those anons who don't know English so well to participate in this discussion. So I asked if talking in English is still reasonable; but I see it's so. =) >>23202 >but the people are different, and the things that impress us don't do the same with other people. That's the Ultimate Problem of Art, as I can name it. The thing that can totally break one's mind to pieces and transform him to the one who would ever say «I didn't realize how I lived before it» (speaking of anime, for me it's Steins;Gate, Puella Magi Madoka Magica and, of course, Rozen Maiden) — can be totally disregarded by somebody else. But, in anime community, I see, it is rare that one doesn't ever know about Rozen Maiden; has he good or bad opinions about it — in both ways he watched it. And I hope this situation would continue, and we never encounter sometimes that most of anime-watchers would know about modern ongoings and everchanging «ordinary school life»-series, but forget who Suigintou is and why one's friend named her cat with heterochromia Suiseiseki. >Hina and Souseiseki didn't, as I remember. Ooops, you're correct. What the hell is with me that I started to forget details of Traeumend ending?.. >Practicing English is a good thing to start the day with. Definitely. As my English is still not very well (a couple of times of being in Ireland by a week each, is not enough to feel free in it, and I suppose that quality of my speech for those who have English language as native is comparable to quality of Russian language of average Caucasus habitant that went to Moscow for work. =) Indeed, that's every chance to practice language is good. Sometimes I re-read my posts and encounter such idiotic things as «understanded» and «you does»... One may say that I'm too criticizing to myself, but I hope that eventually amount of such mistakes (and another mistakes that I'm still unable to detect) would go lower.
